Sprayed Concrete

Sprayed concrete has been developed for large areas requiring repair. Two different techniques can be employed—either a pre-bagged mixture is forced through a pump and water is added  as it comes through the nozzle, or a fully mixed concrete is forced through hoses. The techniques require different items of plant and specialist material.

It provides excellent adhesion and bond strength and high outputs can mean improved programme times. Curing times can also be relatively short.
